"Hi,my name is Joe and i recently retired from a multifaceted career spanning five decades. I have an MA in History from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the George Washington University. I have always been an excellent communicator, either written oral; but my strongest suit is in my ability to pay attention to others and listen intently and stay focused on the needs of those with whom I am interacting.I have been the go to person when questions pertaining to "who, what, when, where, and why" would surface.

History and the use of English have always been my passion, and finance was my vocation. Not the stock market per se, but the use of available assets to bring about the most profitable result. I am the historian of my group of friends, both maintaining the record of our memorable events, but by also bringing a historical perspective to our discussions. Note here, that as a lifetime Long Islander, I also know something about how this area grew up.

The pandemic was instrumental in my decision to take the next journey in my life. I have been assisting my extended family's children remotely as we navigated subject for grades 1-9. As you might expect, I was called upon to deliver the history lessons and spent hours working through essays of great importance. Never writing for them, but always keeping the focus on the task at hand.It was time well spent,I believe for everyone involved. I was able to conduct both group and individual sessions. It reminded me of my love of learning which I was able to pass on and even enjoy for myself. I guess that is what a win-win looks like.
