"Hi, I'm Itzhak (he/him)! Have you ever walked into a museum and wondered how an artist did that? I want to help demystify the wonderful world of painting, printmaking, and drawing. Whether you are looking to express yourself or hone your technical skills, I am here to help.

If you are curious about the story of art or have to prepare for a high school or college class, I have an extensive knowledge of art history. I have a passion for art historical research.

I am an experienced painter and recent Rhode Island School of Design graduate. I have a background as a teaching assistant at the high school and college level. I am most comfortable teaching passionate students 14 and up who are interested in pursuing art and art history for themselves or as a career. I have 8+ years of training that I am excited to share with my students. I love to draw and paint, and am excited to nurture talent and enthusiasm.

I'm currently completing a bachelors of Fine Art in Painting with a minor in Theory + History of Art and Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD.)

I am well versed in contemporary and classical painting techniques. I am also familiar with printmaking methods from screenprinting, intaglio, lithography and more. I can provide advanced methods and material instructions for hobbyist and beginners at all levels.
