"My educational background is entirely within the fields of science and medicine. As an undergraduate at Stetson University, I graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Molecular Biology major. It was during this time that I got my formal start in tutoring and education as a Student Peer Instructor for numerous introductory biology courses. As a biology tutor I led dozens of students through both group-style and individualized sessions, focusing mostly on content review. Following my time at Stetson University, I took a gap-year to work as a scribe for multiple Emergency Medicine and Cardiology physicians while studying for the MCAT and was able to score in the 94th percentile on this test.

Following my matriculation into the University of Florida College of Medicine, my love for mentorship and education took off. Along with volunteering in multiple extracurricular groups to mentor undergraduate students through the complicated medical school admissions process, I was also hired by my program during my 2nd year to serve as a tutor for other students within the medical school. I served in this role for the last 3 years of my medical school career. I began with tutoring preclinical topics within the first 2 years of our curriculum, but following my success on both USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 (passing Step 1 on my first attempt and scoring in the 94th percentile on Step 2), I have dedicated myself to guiding other students to reach their USMLE Step and NBME Shelf goals while I await my internship start date as an Internal Medicine resident at Vanderbilt University's medical center in the summer of 2025." less...
