I am a licensed RN with a master’s degree in nursing education. I am a nurse for more than 30 years, and now tutor ADN and BSN nursing students. I taught clinical nursing and online nursing theory for over 9 years with an excellent high NCLEX pass rate College of Nursing. I participated in BSN course development. My current instructional focus is on how to study for nursing school and adult medical-surgical nursing.

Suggested tutored lesson topics with study tips are:

1. How to Study for Nursing School- Strongly Recommended for first-year nursing Students.

Requires 2- 4 hours.

2. Upper GI-Lower GI- Requires 1-2 hours.

3. Thermoregulation- Requires 1 hour.

4. Arthritis and Connective Tissue Disorders -Requires 1-2 hours.

5. Fluid & Electrolytes- Requires 1-2 hours.

6. Vascular Disorders- Requires 1-2 hours.

7. Blood Pressure Meds- Requires 1 hour.

8. Chronic Kidney Disease, Dialysis, Hemodialysis, Transplantation, with renal review -

Requires 1-2 hours.

9. Heart failure & dysrhythmia – Requires 1- 2 hours.

10. HIV & Anemia- Requires 1-2 hours.

I will consider other requested topics. As a nursing educator, I am well-rounded in nursing theory, skills, and behavioral science. I believe that nursing confidence develops with competence.
