I studied math and Italian at Rutgers University. I peer-tutored my classmates; In addition to peer tutoring, I have also prepared students for the math portions of the ACT, SAT, and elementary school students for the COOP exam.

In the past, I scored a 770 on the math section of the SAT. I specialize in tutoring mathematics ranging from elementary algebra through pre-calculus, including standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, and COOP exams.

During our initial meeting, we can spend some time getting to know about each other - likes, pet-peeves, favorite music, etc.. before we dive directly into your studies s (excluding 5 minute breaks I offer every 10-20 minutes depending on your attention span - mine was very short). Afterwards, we can discuss what you will do on your own.

I will also ask you to prepare questions for our following sessions (the more questions the better) because I want you to to take away the most from our meetings; I want you to walk away with confidence and a smile.

As far as how I like to work , I use power points and other aids, plenty of practice, and open discussion. Our sessions together will be thought-provoking and enjoyable.
