"I have 19 years of teaching experience on the west side of Cleveland. I develop my own lessons to match the Common Core Curriculum in grades 3, and 4. I believe students should be presented with a variety of strategies to solve problems, as well as teaching students how to understand the principles behind the solution rather than just how to solve a problem. I am very structured in my teaching and have high expectations for all of my students.

My wife and I teach at the same Cleveland school. We have two daughters, a fifth grader and a 3rd grader. My oldest daughter is visually impaired, which provides me a unique view into teaching and learning mental math skills.
