"I earned an Associate's in Graphic Communication and a Bachelor's in Child Development. I received high honors in Sacramento City College and graduated Sacramento State with a Cum Laude. Additionally, I had my artworks featured in student shows in college and at Sacramento State.

I would lead a discussion on a written piece and the student will be given the chance to share their opinions or beliefs. However, they will be asked how they came to their conclusions. It is not to put them on the spot, but to practice using text examples as support for their ideas (great practice for essay writing). Questions and commentaries in the discussion will involve symbolism plus themes and the overall plot of the written piece.

I have taken graphic design/art courses, an art education course, and a new media art class and can use what I have learned in tutoring sessions. I will give sincere critique to those who show me their artwork or photograph and give advice for improvement. For example, "it seems you need to work on line smoothness in this drawing" or "try zooming in or trying different angles when taking a photo."
