SAT/ACT is my specialty! In fact, I've trained other tutors as well. I also excel at the GRE/GMAT, scoring a 720 on my first official GMAT. I won't go so far as to say I make tutoring fun, but I make sure it's engaging and meaningful. Tutoring isn't just memorization and repetitive practice drills; that's passive and wastes time. I instill a sense of confidence within my students so they feel they can tackle topics on their own. I've even worked with other tutors and educators to hone their skills and improve their teaching styles.

My experience tutoring so many subjects and exams has given me insight that lets me simplify even the most complex material. That's why I believe myself to be such an effective tutor. I break the material down into simpler concepts.

Experience also allows me to be flexible. Suddenly remember halfway through physics homework that you also have a pre-calc quiz tomorrow and want to spend the rest of our session reviewing for that? You got it.

Education is an investment. Just an increase of 100 points on the SAT, 3 points on the ACT, or a 0.2 increase in GPA can significantly increase merit scholarship awards and dramatically raise a student's chances of being accepted to a better school.
