"I am one of those rare individuals who love standardized tests, and I love helping students raise their scores to succeed on tests. I specialize in tutoring SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, ISEE, and SSAT. One of my favorite parts about being a tutor is receiving messages from my students saying that not only did they raise their scores significantly, but they also got into their dream program--sometimes with scholarships! I have tutored all components of each of the tests and have scored at least in the 95th percentile on all of them. I also work with students on gifted and talented tests such as the CogAT. No two students are the same, so I customize each test prep session according to the students' needs, goals, and time available.

In addition, I also provide academic tutoring and homework support for math (from grade school up to trigonometry/Pre-Calculus) and English. I have taught English both for native and for non-native speakers. I tutor very interactively and focus on customizing my tutoring for the student's particular needs. I can help with homework, study skills, or enrichment activities to go beyond the classroom. I particularly enjoy helping students discover that they actually CAN be good at the subject that is challenging them, provided they work hard and ask lots of questions.
