"I'm Sunny! I enjoy helping students in mathematics and science courses, but I am also adept in humanities courses as well. Conceptual understanding is at the core of my teaching, and I am always happy to see my students achieve their academic goals. I have 4 years of experience tutoring high school regular, honors, and AP subjects and have also scored very high on the SAT myself. Furthermore, completing the pre-med track, I am adept at these courses and applying them in advanced college coursework. I am on track to complete a degree in biochemistry along with a second degree in the humanities at Rutgers University Honors College. I have also gained an early admission to medical school as part of a highly exclusive program through RWJMS and Rutgers Global Health Institute.
On the SAT, I have an actual perfect 800 on SAT Math with zero questions missed. I also have a 4.0 GPA across both math/science and humanities courses I have taken. I have written numerous materials and have experience in writing documents for health policy as well, as a nod to my humanities side. I have also written award-winning historical papers, demonstrating my ability to synthesize essays and written material with extensive research. I have experience working in scientific research at the university, showing my versatility in science as well.
As your teacher, I will work both within the classroom and beyond, answering actively questions you may have as well as making myself available even when not in session. I also provide insights into the analysis of material used to teach, and do not stick to one or two books as I have done extensive research into the best material to learn from as well as the best teaching methods, coming from myself as a life learner through my medical school journey. More than learning the subject itself, I provide real life insights from soft skills I have learned so that the students can become more productive and aligned towards the goals they wish to achieve in life. If you have questions, feel free to s" less...
