"In addition to teaching 9 years in the high school setting (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Earth Science, Biology, Algebra I and II etc.) I also possess MANY years of practical industrial chemistry experience. I am aware of the skills that today's employers seek. I am a former medic, firefighter, CPR instructor and am capable of positive interaction with a wide array of skillsets. I feel EVERYONE is capable of being educated.

I am proud to be an educator in science and mathematics, but I harbor few illusions that the basic tenets and arcane ideologies of math and science might be retained by most students. I wish to educate through "power of example" -- using math and science concepts as a "road map" to practical problem solving skills. I value the role of facilitator in a student's learning process. I strive to be the best role model possible.
