I love showing students how natural science topics can have real life applications and impacts. Because we are all dependent on the natural world and all of our actions affect natural systems, I enjoy opening that mental pathway to understand and think critically about our human roles in the world around us.

I have 7 years experience teaching environmental science topics at college entry level, including ecology, geology, geomorphology, human population dynamics, resource consumption/depletion/renewal, pollution (soil, air and water), food and agricultural production, and more.

I am a strong writer and have an obsessive eye for proofreading. I have 7 years of experience in technical and scientific writing, and was at the top of my class throughout undergrad and graduate school in writing assignments. I also excelled in writing speeches and presentations, including PowerPoint presentations.
