It takes patience to find the right avenue for a student who has difficulties understanding how to solve a particular problem. Once that avenue is found, we will build on it until the world of Mathematics becomes open.
Scientists love to learn. I am a scientist and learn something every day. I had six college majors: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Anthropology, History and English with a GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0. My late husband worked in Denver, Colorado Springs and Winterset, IA. Every time I transferred from one university to another (Denver University to Colorado University to Iowa University), I have had to take more college course hours to graduate. I worked full time and raised two sons. It took me 25 years to graduate. I was stubborn and did it!
