"I have eight years of teaching experience behind me. I am certified in the subjects of ELA and Social Studies. I started teaching middle School science and social studies then for the following six years taught G.E.D. for two of the six until Hiset took its place. I was teaching during those transition years, Writing and Reading.

I am not only certified but also highly qualified as gauged by the Compass Rubric. I am formally educated, having obtained a double BA. My first BA degree was in Political Science/History and decided to also obtain my second BA in secondary education because of my love for sharing my knowledge and learning from others.

I taught Writing and Reading for six years for GED until it transitioned to the HISET but in those years I learned that these subjects are conquered by understanding 'Test taking skills' and knowing how to find the correct answer. You can know the content of the subject thoroughly but you will not necessarily ace it if you do not understand how to find the correct answer.

My love of history and having been formally educated and obtaining my Political Science and History BA degree. Also, taught history three years.
