Outside the classroom I've tutored small groups from 1 client up to 4 clients at a time. I've tutored in the client's home, at the school, and at a library. My skills have helped students who don't speak English to learn the language while simultaneously learning rigorous content.
How is that possible? First, I interview the student and family in order to understand your background and reasons for pursuing an elite education. Getting to the know the student's background, interests, and motivation will determine how to effectively engage and support the student. I'll meet you where you are and build you up in order to meet and exceed your goals! I use instructional strategies that support various types of learners (audio-visual, kinesthetic, and reading-writing) whether in-person or virtually.
