About a decade ago, in my 30s, I pivoted to programming and tech ed with ZERO experience, and I've learned so many lessons and made important mistakes along the way that I can help you to avoid or in some cases, embrace.

One of the biggest decisions I do not regret was to pause my career and dedicate myself to caring for my daughter. I do not take your life circumstances lightly. As a stay-at-home mom I know how busy life can be as a parent, or with a full-time job and struggling to make ends meet, and I'm here to support you. Staying engaged with the material takes dedication, but more importantly you need a laser-focused learning path, hands-on projects and guidance from someone who's made that same journey. I've personally helped hundreds of students one-on-one and seen thousands of students through life-changing transformations.

Most recently, I taught and developed curricula for a software engineering program, part of Colorado Technical University. In addition to Python fundamentals, I taught computer science basics, algorithms, data structures (eg. linked lists, binary search trees), as well as full-stack development essentials (html, css, javascript, git, terminal), Python (OOP, Flask, Django, MySQL), Javascript (OOP, MEAN and MERN stacks), Swift (OOP, iOS applications), Java (OOP, Spring Framework).
