"My entire career has been spent preparing students for college, helping them write the essays that get them accepted, and starting first year college writers on their higher education journey. I have two advanced degrees, a MA in English/Literary Studies from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MS in the Instruction of English from Drexel University. Additionally, I completed my BA in Communications and Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh.

I have been an English Department Chair of an award winning high school for eight years, as well as an AP teacher for 10 year. At the university level, I have taught writing and literature classes for 15 years and at seven colleges in PA, CA and NJ.
