As such, I tend to be very willing to adapt pay based upon individual circumstances to give people the chance they need to overcome, and will put in the longer hours and be a bit of a broader coach if needed. I'm convinced education and knowledge are neither the answer to all life's problems, nor anything to scoff at. Getting past tough subjects usually does take a lot of work. BS in meteorology at OU with minor in mathematics, completed coursework towards an MS in meteorology at Florida State (no thesis). Taught introduction to meteorology lab at FSU for three semesters. 1440 GRE (800 math, 660 english). 1390 SAT (710 math, 680 english). Taught 7 years at a small Christian co-op, primarily science and math, typically at high school levels, but also a variety of courses including English, geography, bible, technology, yearbook, personal finance skills, elementary history, etc for various grade levels when needed. And I've tutored a variety of needs from youth through college. Finished top three in two national computer programming competitions senior year of high school. Successful results in national weather forecasting contests. Commonly engaged in answering questions, particularly meteorology-related, at the Earth Science Stack Exchange website.
