My expertise includes phonics, fluency, comprehension strategies, vocabulary development, and writing organization, mechanics, and style. Currently, I work with English Language Learners (ELL's) as an direct-English-instructional educator, supporting children as they gain confidence and proficiency in second language.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis on classroom communication. Additionally, I completed the Multiple Subject Student Teaching Credential Program and have been trained as a Reading Specialist and Behavioral Interventionist. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, from classroom teaching to running small group and 1:1 learning centers.
