"My name is Chimere. I have taught at all levels with high school being my last assignment. I have been tutoring for over 15 years. My favorite subjects include English, History, Social Sciences, Life Skills. I love to learn and have a knack for finding strategies that work for each individual student. I am patient and very detailed when it comes to a student's learning plan.

I have taught English to students that are below grade level all the way up to grade level. I like teaching the basics as well as exploring literary pieces for leisure. My love for language makes me a great English teacher which allows my students to gravitate to my enthusiasm about the subject.

I have an extensive background in Special Education. I have taught students that are non verbal and verbal as well as students that are below grade level in subjects such as English and History. My specialty is working with kids that have other health impairments (adhd) and emotional disturbance. I am able to teach strategies that enable students to become self aware by teaching them their learning styles and how to use strategy to be more successful in an academic setting.
