I earned a BA in Political Science and History from UCLA, where I improved my research and essay writing skills through many papers and projects. More recently, I completed a BS in Computer Science from Oregon State University, studying programming languages like C, C++, and Python.

My passion for teaching really took off when I saw the amazing curiosity of my own three kids. My oldest son is on the autism spectrum, and he's taught me so much about patience and the importance of personalized learning methods. Seeing him get excited when he's passionate about a subject brings me so much joy. This experience inspired me to help others find their own excitement for learning. I've also volunteered to teach English to native Spanish speakers through immersive lessons, combining my love for language and helping others improve their English skills.

Whether it's helping someone with essay writing, explaining programming concepts, or exploring topics in history and political science, I enjoy adjusting my teaching style to fit each person's unique way of learning. My tech experience includes an internship at a small startup, where my team designed a backend API using modern tools for client matching—a great hands-on experience that improved my understanding of real-world computer science.

When I'm not teaching or coding, I love exploring new places—especially ones I've studied about.
