"I have degrees in European and American history, with a minor in World history. I have taught as an adjunct instructor at an area community college, as well as having worked as a Merit Badge Counselor for the Boys Scouts.

I believe the real basis for understanding history is to make it relevant to the student, while stressing basic skills like writing and presenting information. The goal is to help the student become a lifelong learner, not necessarily a professional historian, but I try to work with students based upon their interests to get them to see events through a historical prism."
