"Social Studies is a passion for me. I hold a Bachelors degree in History and a minor in Kinesiology. I have continued my education by taking addition coursework in History, Anthropology, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology and Cultural Studies. I hold certification in Social Studies 4-12, Physical Education EC-12, Health EC-12 and Business Education 6-12 as well as six years experience as a High School Social Studies teacher.

I have also committed eighteen years of my life working with young people. I have served as a Y counselor, daycare teacher and a certified teacher.
