"I knew as a teenager that technology was going to be the centerpiece of my career and hobbies. Now I'm an IT project manager by day, and a maker by night. I'm an Air Force veteran, Masters degree graduate, and FCC licensed Amateur Extra radio operator. Software, operating systems, and electronics are all pastimes that I turned into paying jobs.
I've been an instructor for CompTIA certifications since 2012, mostly often Linux+. I've tutored middle school and high school students in introductory programming or electronics principles. I've tutored college students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electronic Engineering classes.
"Toy" electronics like Arduino and Raspberry pi are making hands-on electronics and programming more accessible than ever, and these skills pay real dividends at real jobs in information technology, engineering, or robotics industries. I'm open to tutoring any math or engineering subjects through undergrad - just let me know what your goals are and we can come up with a lesson plan.
I taught myself programming through independent study starting in high school, and got my first role as a developer in college. Now my day job is IT project manager, where I interact with servers, software, customer requirements, and business processes. If you're learning the initial concepts, developing hireable skills, or building a system to get real work done, I have years of personal experience that can speed along your learning journey.
I'm available evenings and weekends outside of business hours." less...
