"Hi! I am Ali; I am a software development engineer at Yardi. I have a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Kennesaw State University. Before completing my Bachelors, I did my associates in Computer Programming, and also obtained certificates in C# and Java. This led to my interest in software development. I also have three years of tutoring experience at the college level at Kennesaw State University. I enjoy helping people, I especially like helping them with any problems that they might have with computer programming. Programming is a passion of mine and I take it seriously!
My time as a tutor has taught me that every student has their own way of learning and require a different timeline. I keep that in mind while considering the plan for my students. I worked with my students 1-to-1 so that they understand everything that is going on in their class. If the student is willing, I try to teach more than what is taught in classes. For example, I think many colleges skip teaching GitHub and Git in general. I think it is a crucial part for my students that want to develop a career in programming. I have also come with my own lesson plans for students that want to go above and beyond from their college classes or want to enroll in college at a later date and currently just looking to hone their skills at programming.
I have experience with tutoring the programming languages including Java, C#, C++, VB.NET and JavaScript. I offer online tutoring on the weekends. My experience is mostly with working with college level students, but I can help students of any age. If you think I can help, please feel free to contact me. Thank you :)" less...
