"My name is Isaac McDonald and I am a Sophomore at Brown University studying philosophy and business. I graduated first from West Salem High School in Salem, Oregon. I was awarded the Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy for fluency in the Spanish language.

I have been tutoring middle and high schoolers for 3 years. Many of my clients struggle with ADHD or have difficulties in classroom settings. it has been rewarding to watch these students find hope, confidence, enjoyment, and success in their learning. I have found that there is no ‘one size fits all approach’ when tutoring is about working with unique individuals, therefore specific plans for each student work best. Additionally, I have experience teaching high-achieving students interested in maximizing their success in high school to attend selective universities. At the core of every tutoring relationship is mutual respect, which arises from a genuine desire from the tutor to help students. One delight of this job is that the student often teaches the tutor, just as much as the tutor teaches the student.
