As an educator, I have worked as a teacher in the middle and high school levels for the past seven years. I also hold a Masters of Art and am New York State Certified in Spanish Adolescence Education/Foreign Language, which has served me well teaching all levels during the past three years. As a Spanish native speaker and a learner of English as a second language, I am very passionate about my role as an educator and in helping students become proficient in another language.

Prior to raising my family, I had a successful business career after receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. I have been employed as a Programmer Analyst for fortune 500 companies and as an IT Consultant with Keane Incorporated and a Senior Analyst at The Pepsi-Cola Company. Later, I worked as Consulting Manager for Hyperion Software, where I managed over thirty consultants in the North-East Region. As a manager, one of my responsibilities included the delivering of a four-day training program to managerial personnel on Project Management Methodology to assist in the development and implementations of computer systems.
