"My mission and vision in life is to help children and young adults unlock their academic potential. With years of experience in tutoring and teaching, I am committed to providing the support and strategies needed for academic success.

I hold a degree from San Diego State University, where I completed the Dual Language Elementary School Teacher Preparation Program with a 3.8 GPA. Through this program, I developed effective teaching strategies for bilingual education (Spanish and English) in grades K-5.

For over four years, I tutored a variety of subjects—including Applied Calculus, Behavioral Statistics, Biology, Zoology, Economics, Anthropology, Spanish, and Study Skills—at the Academic Success Center at Southwestern College. I also spent two years tutoring Spanish grammar, syntax, and literature at San Diego State University’s Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures.

Currently, I serve as a high school Spanish teacher in the San Diego Unified School District while also tutoring for Professional Tutors of America. I have experience working with students of all ages, from elementary to college level, in both individual and group settings.

I understand how challenging it can be to learn something new, and I am committed to helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Whether you need support in math, science, Spanish, or study skills, I am eager to assist you in your learning journey.
