"¡Hola! Soy Lupe D. and I am original from Mexico. I am a Spanish native speaker with a Master of Arts in Spanish and Literature. I came to the USA when I was twelve years old and just like you, I had to learn a second language. This experience helped me to see the struggles students can experience learning a second language but, mostly help me to see the different ways I could help the students to be successful. After graduating from the University of Wilmington NC, I immediately started teaching Spanish. I have eight years of experience teaching Spanish. I taught different levels of Spanish, from elementary up to college level. I also have experience teaching online.

During my teaching experience, I held tutoring sessions every day after school for students to come for help. I addition to this, they also knew that I was there for them during lunch if they needed help. I believe all students have different styles of learning; therefore, I like to incorporate different teaching/tutoring methods in my lessons, more interactive and fun ways.

Teaching is my passion and I love helping students be successful.
