"I am a native of Beijing and speak with the standard dialect of Mandarin Chinese. I've lived in the US and Canada for the past 10 years, having attended graduate school at Ohio State and worked in DC as a reporter for Phoenix Television (a Hong-Kong based cable television network). I also have more than 8 years of experience teaching students Mandarin Chinese at all levels ranging from elementary school to college. My teaching methods are practical yet fun to learn, whether independently or supplemental to your current curriculum. I'm energetic about teaching although mindful to work at a pace with which you will be comfortable.

From September, 2012, I will have a after-school Mandarin Chinese program, once or twice a week on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:15 in Ms. Ling's Classroom.
