"I am a special education teacher and am also certified in general elementary education. I also have Professional Certification in both childhood education and teaching students with disabilities. I obtained my Master's in Education from Bank Street College of Education, where I studied special education. I graduated college from the University of Maryland where my major was elementary education and my minor was special education. I work with kids all year long- at school during the year, and previously at a sleep away camp over the summer. I just completed my 7th year teaching at a private school and I enjoy tutoring after school. I have taught 1st- 6th grade at this school. I love to make learning fun!

I am fun and energetic. I love to make learning engaging and memorable. Math has always been my favorite subject. I enjoy teaching students songs and games to help them remember information. I teach all academic subjects throughout the day- math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I am looking forward to continuing my lessons with you after school!
