"I was an Assistant Teacher at a non-public Special Education school from 2016 to 2022. I specialize in English, Reading, Science, Art, Remedial Math, Algebra and Test Prep. Other specialties include help with Executive functioning, planning, organization, and scheduling with an emphasis on intellectual and emotional disabilities.

I have taught English as a second language to high schoolers as well as adults of various backgrounds. I focus on clarity, pronunciation and understanding through the use of video models, flashcards, and many other materials.

I have been a Christian for about 20 years and I have dedicated the majority of my life to studying scriptures and conveying those concepts to children, adolescents, and adults of varying racial, religious, and faith levels. The Bible study chart used is “Exploring God’s Word” that is about a 12 week study topically surveying the Bible.

As a student, extensive studying and essay work becomes second nature. Having gone through college with a 3.5 grade average shows my dedication to thorough writing.

Working with Students with special needs for the past 9 years has been a highlight in my life. The majority of the students I work with are on the Autism Spectrum and many with a co-diagnosis of ADHD.
