For the past three semesters, I have been a tutor at my university’s Math Help Center, assisting students in a variety of math and engineering courses. I also serve as the president of the Association of Charleston Southern Engineering Students, where I help organize and lead study groups in math, physics, and engineering for underclassmen. I believe that repetition is key to mastering difficult concepts. My approach involves demonstrating problems step by step, then guiding students through additional practice to reinforce their understanding. Just like in sports, preparation is essential—practice builds confidence and ensures students are ready when it’s time to perform. By working through problems together and applying concepts repeatedly, I help students develop problem-solving skills that will serve them well in their coursework and beyond." less...
