"I have a masters degree from Georgia Tech plus I have completed three graduate level courses in German literature and six graduate level courses from Georgia State University in Spanish literature. I am officially qualified to teach Spanish at college level.

I have taught Spanish and German at Language Institute of Georgia for 20 years. At Language Institute of Georgia, beginners and low intermediate level students are introduced to German and Spanish via Graded Readers.

Graded Readers are the fastest way of expanding your vocabulary. You also get a lot of reinforcements when you go through Graded Readers. Graded Readers are stories simplified for language learners. They are written with controlled vocabulary. The lexical difficulty varies with the level of the language learners. A strong vocabulary is a must for a language learner. Periodic reinforcements improve the retention level of words in your memory. Speaking is all about recalling, which depends on retention.

I have mostly taught adults and teens. I can also help with AP German and Spanish. especially with the reading part. Reading and speaking have a strong correlation. The more you read, the more words you know and better you speak. I have taught both online and offline.
