"Hello Student,

I am a certified, licensed and credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist with 27 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing and a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I am also a published poet and writer. My work has appeared in literary journals and newspapers.

I have helped hundreds of children and adults of all ages and abilities become effective verbal and written communicators. I am especially empathetic and patient with anxious and/or fearful learners or those with learning challenges.

I use peer-reviewed research-based teaching strategies designed to meet my students' individual needs in the following areas:

-Language Comprehension

-Language Expression

During our first session, which is free to you, I will interview you in order to understand your personal, academic or vocational language goals. We will work together to develop a strategic plan that will allow you to meet these goals with ease.
