In my role as a trainer, I taught statistical analysis/research topics ranging from descriptive and inferential statistics to more advanced methods such as predictive modeling, machine learning, segmentation, structural equation modeling, and text analytics.
I have also personally used SPSS software in my own research for over 40 years. For my Ph.D. dissertation, I used SPSS to analyze public opinion polls to identify the key drivers of why Americans voted the way they did in Presidential elections. I also used SPSS software to analyze election data for a number of papers I presented at conferences, including the Social Science Research History Association and American Historical Association conferences.
In addition to being well versed in SPSS software and statistical analysis, am also a trained historian with experience teaching United States history at the University level. I have a Ph.D. in 20th Century Political History, with emphasis on the New Deal Era and Quantitative Methods in History. While at the University of Illinois, Chicago, I taught survey courses on the history of the United States, as well as some specialized courses including The History of the 1960s and The History of the United States during the New Deal-Fair Deal Era." less...
