"Hi, I'm Jodie! I recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Biomedical Computation and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Biomedical Data Science. This fall, I will be matriculating into Vanderbilt Med with a strong interest in education. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their academic and pre-professional goals, whether in math, biology, SAT prep, MCAT prep, or essay writing.

At Stanford, I earned a 3.95 GPA with distinction in research, and I’ve loved combining my passion for science with teaching. Recently, I’ve been working as a teaching assistant for two large undergraduate courses—BIO84: Physiology and BIO83: Biochemistry and Cell Biology—where I’ve had the chance to support and mentor dozens students in my sections. I also scored a 519 on the MCAT (132 Chem/Phys, 130 Bio, 130 CARS, 127 Psych), so I know firsthand how challenging the process can be and am happy to share strategies that worked for me!

Before college, I attended the selective Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois, and applied with a 1580 SAT score (790 Math, 790 Reading & Writing). I also scored 800 on the SAT Math II Subject Test and 790 on the SAT English section.
