"Hi there! My name is Derrick and I'm excited to teach you math and physics.

I've always had a natural aptitude for math and science, and after graduating with two undergraduate degrees from MIT and finishing a PhD at Stanford, I'd like to work with you to fully realize your natural aptitude. I believe in the capability of *all* students, and that there isn't anyone who "just isn't good" at math. If you've ever felt that way, please know that all you need to be successful is a teacher with the patience and experience to explain things in a way that makes sense. I can be that teacher for you.

I have tutored at the high school level and taught at the undergraduate level. I am qualified to teach a wide selection of mathematics, including (but not limited to): Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus (single or multivariable). I also teach test-taking strategies for SAT math.
