I'm Emma. I teach statistics, psychology, and yoga from sunny St. Petersburg, Florida where I live with my sweet cat (Evie). Following my undergraduate studies in Psychology, I obtained my Master's degree in Psychological Sciences and graduate certificates in Data Analysis and Infant Family Mental Health. As a lifelong student and passionate educator, I am well-prepared and excited to be your tutor and biggest cheerleader as you work to ace your statistics or psychology course. I take a student-led approach, where we first discuss your goals and learning style, and then meet regularly for homework help, exam prep, study skills, and any other ways you would like support.

I have varied and extensive teaching experience, from being a Graduate Teacher's Aide for statistics and psychology courses (2 years) at the University of South Florida, to tutoring statistics and psychology courses (2 years). It brings me great joy to help students succeed, especially in subjects where they may have previously lacked confidence. I have experience working with students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and students on the autism spectrum. I coordinate my lessons to my students' interests and promise to do my best to make the "boring" feel fun!
