I work really well with students who have ADHD and other qualities that give each of us a unique learning style. I have helped hundreds of students with unique learning styles not only find out how to succeed with the subject matter that they are seeking help with, but also helping them learn about the best ways for them to succeed in other aspects of their education - learning about how they learn so they can take charge in the future!
Most of my work has been with high school and college students, but I have had dozens of students outside of that range from 8 to mid 60s (college returners!).
My teaching style balances rapport and support with the technical instruction. Short breaks and conversation between pushing the limits of understanding and instruction have been paramount to learning efficiency, especially with students who don't resonate with the typical classroom lecture-style learning." less...
