"Hi, I'm Lyndsay! I have a Bachelor's degree in physics, with minors in mathematics and computer science from Hastings College. I also have a Master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, with a focus in astrodynamics and satellite navigation. Currently, I am working on a PhD in aerospace engineering, specializing in engineering and STEM education. Throughout the course of this PhD, I have established a strong passion for making STEM education accessible through top-down curriculum and informal education techniques.

For three years, I taught introductory computer science courses at CU Boulder, focused on learning MATLAB and C++ through practical applications. I also have 6 years of tutoring experience in math and science, ranging in subjects from middle school math to college level quantum mechanics. This experience includes elementary, middle, and high school math students, undergraduate physics students, and undergraduate computer science students. In my free time, I volunteer with a local elementary school "Math Club," and with the neighboring high school's engineering design class.

As an employee, volunteer, and academic, I have had extensive experience in the education system.
