"With a Bachelor’s in Biology from UNC Wilmington and a STEM-Biology teaching license from Western Carolina University, I bring four years of hands-on teaching experience in the traditional high school classroom. Since 2021, I have been committed to supporting students in mastering biology concepts, preparing for state biology exams, and succeeding in ACT science sections. My approach is grounded in creating clear, structured explanations tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals.

I work with high school students across diverse academic needs, including foundational biology, ecology, and anatomy/physiology. I emphasize practical study strategies for test success and foundational understanding, empowering students to excel both in their current courses and in standardized testing scenarios. My sessions are engaging and focused, designed to help students identify key concepts and apply them confidently.

Alongside traditional biology subjects, I’m equipped to support students working on nursing prerequisites, particularly those preparing for the ATI TEAS test, and those needing help in life sciences as they transition into higher education. I aim to equip my students with not only knowledge but also a toolkit of effective study skills that they can carry into future academic pursuits.
