"My name is Cassie, and I am a junior undergraduate student double majoring in Biology and Spanish! I am pursuing a sciences career, with particular interest in microbiology, infectious diseases, and cell biology. As a high school tutor, college tutor, sports coach, and mentor, I have experience with working with students in both an individual and group setting.

High School Tutoring: During the COVID-19 pandemic, I tutored middle school clarinet students both one-on-one and in groups to help improve their musical abilities. Additionally, I ran a pen pal project to provide reading, writing, and interpersonal skill support for 4th grade students. I tutored students on writing etiquette and coordinated the exchange with teachers from both schools involved in the project.

Mentorship & Coaching: Over the past 4 years, I have mentored younger referees on: the Laws of the Game; communicating with coaches, parents, and teams; and managing pre- and post-game responsibilities. I have also coached soccer players in grades 2 and 3 over the past year, helping players learn sportsmanship, footwork, team communication, and endurance/stamina skills.

College Tutoring: I acted as a Learning Assistant in a Chemistry II classroom, providing academic support to students in both individual and group settings. I also currently tutor Cell Biology, Genetics, & Experimental Methods at my university twice a week for college-level students.
