"Hello! I am Juster R and I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with honors and where I was conferred with a B.S. in Chemistry degree. Completing this degree provided me with a strong foundation in topics concerning math and natural sciences. I have more than 10 years of experience working with students to learn basic concepts of calculus, algebra and chemistry. I was selected by mentors to help tutor upcoming classes because of my grasp on these materials where I came in with an inquisitive approach to students questions and concerns about the subject matter. I have taught this way in various settings including classrooms, one-on-one tutoring, small group sessions, and online education.
I specialize in teaching chemistry in both high school or college settings. I am also familiar with teaching the foundational skills necessary for succeeding in a path towards a chemistry of chemistry adjacent degree. I have taught students ranging from elementary (ages 8–10), where I taught foundational skills, to high school students for standardized test preparation such as the PSATs, SAT and SAT subject tests.
My formula for success starts by me creating customized lesson plans that align with each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning objectives. I also use diagnostic tests to determine progress and to refine my teaching strategies. I also like to encourage critical thinking by relating lessons to real-world applications and fostering problem-solving skills.
Please feel free to contact me for any further clarifications. I look forward to enriching any and all students that I will have the pleasure to work with!" less...
