My name is Nate and I am currently in the last quarter of my B.S. in Human Biology at the UC San Diego, on track to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. While my focus has been on biology relating to the human body (biochemistry, physiology, endocrinology, etc) I have a broad base in stem, as I have earned As in 3 semesters of calculus, 3 semesters of physics, 2 semesters of general chemistry, 2 semesters of organic chemistry, and 1 semester of statistics.

I have countless hours studying with and helping other classmates, but my formal tutoring includes two main experiences:

Previously, I have 100+ hours tutoring undergraduate physics as a TA. My role was to provide tutoring, write quizzes, and assist during labs.

Currently, I volunteer in a Math 2 classroom at a disadvantaged high school in San Diego. My role is to either answer questions as needed throughout class or to work one-on-one with students.

I am open to tutoring all age groups. However, I am most interested in helping students looking to excel on their AP exams including: Calculus AB & BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics 1, 2, and C. With college admissions being as competitive as its ever been, earning top marks on as many AP exams as possible is a great way to stand out academically. By working with me, you will be able to maximize your GPA and AP score as efficiently as possible. From experience, I know not all AP courses are offered; however, self-studying is an option and is very doable. With my assistance, we can create an outline and schedule to help you ace your AP exam regardless of if it is offered at your school.

Not only will I help with understanding difficult, complex topics, but I will guide development of study techniques and exam prep skills. When it comes to success in classes, not only must one be able to master the material, but also do it as time efficiently as possible and have the proper test taking techniques to maximize performance.
