"After going through all the popular review courses while preparing for step 1 I noticed a lack of focus on the critical skill required for achieving a high score, analytical thinking. While most programs will help you learn the material through memorization, the thinking process which step 1 has gravitated towards, is left up to the student. This was a common area many of my students in the past struggled with, they could recite the information but applying that information into the question and coming up with the answer was lacking.
