"My name is Stephanie and I am currently a 7th and 8th grade science teacher. I have been teaching for three years; four years including my full year student teaching placement. I absolutely love teaching and inspiring learners to achieve their goals in fun, interactive, engaging ways! I have been thorough a rigorous Master's program which has given me many tools to help students. Technology can play a big part in engaging students so I use that to my advantage. This can range from activities on iPads, phones, computers and tablets to study skills to rewards that will help motivate your student. During my teaching, I have also grown and learned new ways to encourage and excite learners of all diverse backgrounds. I am very familiar with working with students with ADD, ADHD, Autism, OHI, IEPs and 504s.

My teaching license is for grades 7-12 in life sciences. I thoroughly enjoy biology, anatomy, physiology, genetics, and ecology. I am also well versed in astronomy and geology. I have been teaching these subjects for the past four years as well. My expertise does not end there. I am very well organized and love to help students with their organizational skills. I also enjoy working on study skills with students. I feel this subject is not very prevalent in school although students need to use these skills everyday in order to be successful. The quicker they learn the skills, the more successful they will become!
