"I’m a multi-state-licensed Reading Specialist (PK-12) with a Master’s in Reading Education and am currently working on my Dyslexia Certificate. With 8 years of experience in both public and private schools, I combine relationship-building with evidence-based literacy strategies to help students improve their reading skills and foster a love for reading. I make lessons engaging by incorporating students’ interests and interactive activities, tailoring each session to meet your child’s unique needs.

As an RTI Teacher at Aliamanu Elementary (K-6), I used Orton-Gillingham-based interventions to help struggling readers make measurable progress in the 5 core areas of reading. This experience honed my ability to design personalized literacy plans that address individual needs and deliver real results.

Previously, I worked as Director, Assistant Director, and Instructor for Small Groups at The Campus (grades 9-12), mentoring educators and supporting students with diverse academic and social needs. I developed curricula, led conflict resolution strategies, and helped students, including those with IEPs, thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

For the past 4 years, I’ve also been a part-time structured literacy tutor, specializing in evidence-based methods to support literacy development. This experience has strengthened my ability to create personalized learning plans that ensure steady progress.

I believe every student can grow with the right tools, support, and encouragement. Whether one-on-one or in small groups, I use multi-sensory techniques to meet students where they are and guide them toward success.
