"Hello students! I wish I could hear about your experiences before I start writing about myself. However, since I do not know you yet, let's begin with a short introduction. I am married, have two grown children and five grandchildren. I am retired from teaching at the college level. My specialties are English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy/Ethics, Expository Speech, Debate, and Writing (with an emphasis on proofreading, grammar, creation of content/thematic unity, and proofreading). I currently tutor high school students in U.S. History, AP U.S., and World History, and college students for Wyzant nights/weekends in a plethora of subjects. I have taught all levels of education, including teaching History and English classes for the Indiana Department of Correction.
I have a B.A. from the University of Evansville, in a tri-fold degree, comprising and encompassing full degree work in History/Sociology/Philosophy. My Master's degree from Duke University is in Religion with a particular research and presentation emphasis in the Sociology of Religion. I am a published researcher doing my work in the 1970s on the research topic: "Dominant Ideologies in Rural North Carolina United Methodist Churches," published by Duke University Press. I have taught, and also tutored, at the college level: History, Sociology, Medical Ethics, Business Ethics, Introduction to Ethics, Introduction to Philosophy, and Art History from 3,000 B.C.E. to modern times.

WE ALL LEARN IN A UNIQUE WAY PECULIAR TO US! COOKIE CUTTER MOLDS DO NOT WORK FOR LONG TERM SUCCESS! Also, if students are struggling with a subject, and do not know what to do next, or even where to be" less...
