"Hi I'm Sue. I have been an educator since 1986, I have a bachelors in Secondary Education with my focus on History and Social Studies. I taught in public schools, private schools and even homeschooled for a brief time. My experience as a public-school teacher was in Junior High and I taught all the grade levels, 6, 7, and 8. In 2013 I moved to private school and taught 10th and 11th grade History. I also taught AP courses with a high percentage of students passing the AP test with a 3 or higher. I also spent time homeschooling my own children during their elementary years.

I teach because I care about our nation’s youth. I desire to see my students grow into productive citizens of the United States. I want them to learn about our history as people and to value their role in forming our future. I desire our children to grow into responsible adults capable of making wise decisions and choices for themselves. In school they accomplish this by learning how to be responsible for and to take pride in their work.
